Parent Info

Sync Grades

World View HS has paired with SyncGrades to provide families with quick access to their child's grades, attendance, and behavioral data. What can you expect from Sync Grades? Seamless Integration: As soon as teachers enter a student's grade, it will be accessible to the child's parent. This is the same for attendance data and behavioral anecdotes.

Family Access to Sync Grades

Sync Grades allows you to view the following:

  • Your child's assignments and projects along with due dates.
  • Your child's performance in each class including homework, classwork, tests and projects.
  • Progress reports from teachers throughout the school year.

By enabling you to see this information on a daily basis, we will be able to work together to ensure that our child remains on track in every class.

To Access your account (First Time Users), please go to www.SyncGrades.com and complete the following steps:

Parent Association

PA Family Nights and Workshops, which are held monthly, look to further engage our school’s families in their child’s education and school community. We recognize the importance of parent involvement in our school and are committed to maintaining and welcoming a nurturing school environment. During the Student Academic Update portion of our Family Nights, parents have the opportunity to individually meet with their child’s teachers and guidance counselors. During these conversations you can discuss your child’s academic performance, student behavior and ensure your child is exceeding school expectations.

During the Parent Association portion, an array of different speakers, workshops and activities are held to strengthen family ties and parent involvement. Parents are informed of school updates, partake in the selection of speakers, and have the opportunity to voice their questions and concerns. Students and families are also recognized for their involvement and efforts and receive certificates.

If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact Ms. Frias at jariasdefrias2@schools.nyc.gov or at (347) 873-4853.
