Each department — ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies — has a four-year course trajectory guiding students from foundational skills to college-ready mastery.
🧠Advisory Program
Every student has a dedicated advisory group throughout their four years — a small community within the school focused on personal growth, goal-setting, and well-being.
🏆AP Program
WVHS offers 6 AP courses. Every student is expected to graduate with at least one AP on their transcript, preparing them for the rigor of higher education.
🎓College Now
Eligible students can earn college credits while still in high school through CUNY's College Now program — a head start on their higher education journey.
🗣️Transitional Bilingual Program
Supporting Spanish-speaking immigrant students in acquiring English while maintaining academic rigor in mathematics and science. A bridge, not a barrier.
