INSTRUCTIONAL FOCUS STATEMENT

All Staff, Parents and students at world view high school will engage in a coordinated effort to have students show growth in critical thinking and reading comprehension skills through the implementation of a set of shared practices in literacy instruction.students will utilize their skills to develop and defend evidence-based thesis statements.

School-wide best practices

  • Core instructional time will be dedicated to work on reading comprehension and the demonstration of knowledge through classroom participation and writing
    in every classroom, daily.
  • The instruction on reading comprehension will include:
    • accountable talk
    • the use of evidence based graphic organizers
    • the seven habits of effective readers

Principal's Message

Dear Students and Parents,

On behalf of the administration, faculty and staff of World View High School, I welcome you to our school community’s website!

At World View, we are committed to excellence and will work to challenge you to perform at the highest level possible, both academically and socially. Your academic success is our number one priority.

To support you in this endeavor and to help you become familiar with the school, we have prepared this website to provide important information about our school.
